FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Marisa Cutaia, Director marisa@theimprovu.com 754-368-1826 (Cell) **Hi-Res photos available upon request** The Palm Beach Improv Festival Brings Laughs to OSS Join the First Public Event at the Historic Fieldhouse this year DELRAY BEACH, FLA (July 1, 2022) – For the seventh time, the Palm Beach Improv Festival is bringing top improvisers to town for a weekend full of shows and laughs. Producer Anthony Francis is excited to bring improv back to Delray Beach and kick off the new programming at Old School Square. “This festival is so special to me because it’s bringing improvisers together from all over to share ideas and concepts about improv and see the fun and different ways they all perform it,” he said. The headliners for the show include LA’s Billy Merritt with “Billy Merritt and Friends”. Joining them are NYC’s Justin Peters and Kelly Buttermore performing “From Justin to Kelly”. Music takes the stage with Orlando’s “Four First Names”. Improv U’s hometown mainstage cast, The Unwritten Sketch Show, completes the Saturday night headliner block. Bringing improv comedy to the city has been the mission of Improv U, the producing entity. Now hosting 4 days of shows and workshops, the festival is creating a space for live improvised theater in the heart of Downtown Delray Beach. “We are hosting a bigger and better festival than ever, including a fourth day for the first time,” said Marisa Cutaia, PBIF Producer. “This year we are excited to be featuring blocks of shows dedicated to improvisers with special needs, seniors and kids.” The Palm Beach Improv Festival includes 70 groups of performers from all over the country in 32 sets over a 4 day span. Workshops are offered for actors, improvisers and guests while shows are open to the public. Sponsorships are available. The Palm Beach Improv Festival is Sept. 8-11, at the Fieldhouse at Old School Square, 51 N Swinton Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444. Tickets are $15 – $35.
